Metrics on the Go: Paywall Previews & Trial Reminders
Check live subscription metrics, preview any paywall on a real device via QR, and confirm trial reminders from your phone with Superwall — no laptop, no app release.
Growth doesn't happen at a desk. With Superwall you can see your live numbers and preview what's next, wherever you are — from a standup, a commute, or the moment a teammate asks how the new paywall is doing.
Why it matters
The work that moves revenue often happens away from the laptop: in a standup, on a commute, the moment a teammate asks "is the new paywall converting?" Growth and marketing teams want to see what's working and preview what's next without waiting on an engineering queue or a new app build. Visibility into paywall and subscription performance is a top customer demand signal — teams want one place to understand the funnel as a whole, and they want it on hand when a question comes up, not hours later.
What you can do with Superwall
Check live subscription metrics. The Charts page covers revenue (Proceeds, Sales, ARR, MRR, Realized LTV), subscriptions (Trial Conversion, Paid Conversion, Active Subscriptions), paywall performance (Paywall Conversion, Checkout Conversion), and churn.
Drill into any number. Filter, break down by dimension, change the time range, and switch chart formats, and hover any chart element to see the detail behind a data point.
Preview paywalls on a real device. Open a paywall, hit Preview, and scan the QR code with your device camera to step through every paywall configuration in a viewer — no hardcoded routing.
See configurations side by side. The interactive paywall preview shows how a paywall looks across iOS devices and localizations, with Default and Free Trial states.
Confirm trial-reminder notifications. Set up reminders that fire before a free trial ends with a title, subtitle, body, and delay.
How it works
Watch the metrics that matter. Open the Charts page, apply filters and breakdowns, set your time range, and hover any point for detail. Export to CSV when you need to share.
Preview on a real device. Configure your custom URL scheme in the dashboard (Settings > General), open any paywall, select Preview, and scan the QR code with your camera to land in a viewer where you can preview every configuration. Deep links use the deepLink_open placement and campaign rules, so there's no routing to hardcode.
Validate trial reminders. Add a notification with a title, subtitle, body, and delay. On iOS SDK v4.10.7+ / Android v2.6.6+, the SDK calculates the actual trial end date from the App Store introductory offer, so reminders fire relative to the real end date — not the trial start.
Proof from customers
Customers consistently ask for an "air traffic control" view of monetization — one place to understand what's working across paywalls, offers, and the funnel as a whole, rather than fragmented data. Paywall analytics and insights are a recurring demand signal, and the strongest buyer language clusters around speed, autonomy, and visibility: being able to check, test, and learn without waiting on an app release or an engineering cycle. Having the numbers and the previews on hand — wherever you are — is exactly that promise made portable.

Use cases
The "is it converting?" check. A teammate asks about the new paywall mid-meeting; pull up Paywall Conversion and answer on the spot.
On-device QA before publishing. Scan the QR preview to confirm a variant looks right on a real device before it goes live.
Trial-reminder confidence. Verify your reminder fires relative to the real trial end date across different trial lengths.
Catching a leak early. Spot a dip in Trial Conversion or Checkout Conversion the moment it starts, not at the next desk session.
